The company Rural Revolution LLC which you can visit HERE makes several products which include Hog Wash Soaps.  They have a very cute little site that is easy to navigate and includes a blog.  Here is a little blurb about Rural Revolution.

Rural Revolution LLC began in our hearts as a desire to remember and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.  For us that meant the country life!  So, we circled the wagons and a few family members and started making our Hog Wash Soaps.

All our soaps are handmade in small batches using natural glycerin  organic palm and coconut oils and other natural ingredients.

I can only use all natural soaps due to skin allergies so I really appreciate companies that make the effort to produce high quality soaps that are without irritating chemicals.   They have several scents including Bacon, yes that's right bacon!  They also make an eye serum HERE that I am dying to try.  There soaps are not expensive as handmade all natural soaps go at $6.00 a bar.

When I was sent two bars of Hog Wash Soap to review I knew I was in for an experience as soon as I opened the box.  The scent of the soaps immediately hit me.  Now admittedly I am sensitive to smells, but these were good smells!  I actually kind of like how strong the scent is because on some soaps its hard to smell the thing you are paying so much money for.

The next thing I liked about these soaps is how absolutely adorable the packaging is.  Each soap comes shrink-wrapped and packaged in a muslin drawstring bag with gingham fabric and their one of a kind Hog Wash Soap label wrapped around it for the cutest packaging ever!  I immediately thought "These would make such a great gift!".  I especially like to give country themed gifts to people so these soaps would work great.

I received one bar of Fresh Picked and their description nails it to a tee.

This soap will have your mouth watering!
With it’s sweet and juicy Macintosh apple
scent, you’ll swear your were standing
smack-dab in the middle of an apple orchard!

I am not a great apple scent lover because it usually is made from low quality oils, but this soap really smells good.   It was very nice to wash with and my hands smelled great afterwards.

The other bar I received was the  Country Kitchen Lemon Basil Scented Soap Bar with basil and organic oils

I liked this one best and it has a very fresh, invigorating scent.  I use this in the kitchen because it is for removing tough smells like garlic, onion, and fish from the hands.  I really love this one as I cook constantly.  I also enjoyed the scent of the lemon and basil that stayed with me after washing.

My Impressions:

Pros

Beautifully Packaged
Delicious scent
Washes skin well
Affordable
Would be a great gift
Highly scented

Cons

Extremely fragrant, which could be bad for very sensitive people
