We went to the mountains last weekend to have a fun day and stopped by chance to stretch our legs. As soon as we pulled in a cloud of butterfly exploded into the air, they had been sunning themselves next to some rain puddles. The children instantly name the place Butterfly Paradise and didn't want to leave! There was also a natural spring that bubbled from the ground and flowed a short distance to the creek. A pipe set in concrete allows people to get fresh water from this naturally clean water source. We tried the water and it was amazing. It was my first time ever drinking water from a spring!
