Then I had the chance to try the Zuvo Water filtration system. I am sure I don't have to tell you how excited I was! I wasn't quite sure what to expect because I am very picky with my water. I had the choice of a under counter model or counter top model. I chose the counter top model because I liked the look of it and I store pans under the sink. I was super excited when I got the filter and couldn't wait to install it and start using it. I opened up the box and was thrilled to see that it came with a beverage faucet and I didn't have to buy one. Installation was not very difficult. Connecting the beverage faucet and the filter were super easy. They came with quick connections so all I had to do was snap the hoses together and that was it! I was done! Anxious is not a strong enough word to describe how excited I was to try the water. The snap on faucet was slow even though the filter was new while the Zuvo system had great water flow.
This filter is wonderful! I love that the filter canister has a light that comes on when it is on and a buzzer that sounds when the filter needs to be changed. What other system notifies you when it needs to be changed?The filters have a longer life than most other filters too which again saves money and also the environment. The Zuvo® Water Filtration System uses a patented five-step process to produce clean, healthy, great-tasting water just the way nature intended!
STEP 1: OZONATION
In nature, ozone is generated by lightning and cleans the air where rainwater forms. The Zuvo Water FiltrationSystem mixes ozone with incoming tap water to treat taste and odor contaminants and improve taste. Like
chlorine, ozone is a powerful oxidizer. Unlike chlorine,
ozone leaves no chemical residue.
STEP 2: ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
